Dear Rowayton Resident,
We need your help. The Rowayton Civic Association’s annual fundraising cycle is coming to a close and we haven’t met our goal, which means local programs will be compromised. Despite successful fundraising events, we’ve experienced a sharp decline in direct donations in recent years.
As you know, the mission of the RCA is to protect and nurture the community spirit of our residents. We do this by organizing events and fundraisers, which allow us to give back to the many cultural and educational institutions that make our seaside village so unique.
Last year, through our Discretionary Grant and Sponsorship Program, we were able to grant approximately $40,000 to local non-profit organizations such as the Rowayton Historical Society, the Library, the Gardeners Club, the Arts Center and our local schools.
A donation of any amount will make a difference.
If you enjoyed one or more of our community events – such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Parade, Summer Music Festival or last week’s Holiday Town Lighting – and/or you wish to support local programs in need, please join us in making a year-end contribution. To acknowledge your gift, a list of supporters will be posted online and published in our Spring/Summer newsletter – unless noted otherwise. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
The success of the RCA relies on the support of those we serve. Please join us this holiday season and give back to our community. If you have already given, thank you for your support.
We wish you a happy holiday season and prosperous New Year!
Kind Regards,
The Rowayton Civic Association’s Board of Directors |
